    Default Help with Ultimate Fade-in slideshow please

    Script Title: Ultimate Fade-in slideshow (v2.1)
    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...nslideshow.htm

    --------------------

    I'm interested in using the slideshow script on my web site to replace a Quicktime movie. To see if it would work for me I added it to a blank page on my site, without changing any of the parameters, to see if it would work, and to test some of the features. Unfortunately I have not been able to get it working (I can see the demos working on the above page).

    If anyone could please render some assistance I would appreciate it. The page I have installed the script on is linked here: http://aarongpeabody.com/TEMPLATE1.html (the slideshow should appear right under the text "here we go".)

    There could be other problems but:

    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="fadeslideshow.js">

    /***********************************************
    * Ultimate Fade In Slideshow v2.0- (c) Dynamic Drive DHTML code library (www.dynamicdrive.com)
    * This notice MUST stay intact for legal use
    * Visit Dynamic Drive at http://www.dynamicdrive.com/ for this script and 100s more
    ***********************************************/

    </script>
    which points to:

    Thanks. I misunderstood the directions and didn't realize I needed to download the external file as well.

    Default No Div Tag

    It appears that you haven't created an empty div tag called fadeshow1. At least, that was the error that I got when I checked it out!

    Hi aarongpeabody
    Right now it looks like you are almost there. Try to remove the "1" in
    <div id="fadeshow1"></div> this id name should be the same as the wrapper id

    see the line:

    wrapperid: "fadeshow", //ID of blank DIV on page to house Slideshow

    in your sourcecode
