need help in navigation coding

i made a TABBED MENU...

its style are defined in css file..

1 style is defined for the seleced / current menu...

but i dont know how to assign this style to the current page? should i need any coding..? if its is plz give me a snippet of coding.. there are many readymade scripts, but its very hard to understand those codings...

here is the example for menu what i want...

u can see in first picture BROWSE CATEGORIES is the current page and having diff style and in second picture ABOUT tab is the current page and having diff style...


so i want menu like this , help me by giving coding for this
