Page height reset

I'm using an accordion menu to display some content, it does resize the div that it is in, but my footer is very far down the page because it was accounting for the html in the accordion before it was initialized. My footer is absolutely positioned to stay at the bottom of the page, not the window.

Basically I'm looking for some javascript that will reset the css after the accordion loads or brings the footer back up where it's supposed to be.
