ddsmoothmenu move whole Wordpress page down!

3) Describe problem: OK Ive been battling trying to get this integrated into Wordpress. I have got it so that it looks good and works....but when you hover over a menu with submenus the whole page drops down.

The distance the page drops down relates to the submenu amount. So the more submenus the more the page moves. Anyway here is a link to see the menu in action: http://www.webdesign-perth.co.uk/testing/dewars/

I really want to get it working so I can share how I did it via a tutorial as I couldnt find a vertical menu for WP anywhere.
