Default Using Accordion Menu in Joomla

    1) Script Title: Apple Style Accordion Menu

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...ordionmenu.htm

    3) Describe problem: Firstly, thank you for a beautifully layed out menu. Here's my problem. I've recently started a new job and they have literally dumped their whole intranet site on my lap. I've been searching for weeks for a multi-level vertical menu structure we can use on this site. Yeh, I've found your Accordion Menu :-)

Now the problem is, How do I use this in Joomla? I have absolutely no idea where to start.

I would greatly appreciate some help.

    Thanking you all in advance.

I've never used Joomla, though the process to adding a script to most CMSes is very similar. Simply upload menu files to your server, then access the Joomla templates pertaining to the HEAD section of the page and BODY. Insert the code of Step 1 and Step2 into these templates respectively. You can see the code broken down into Steps on the main script page.

there's a thread running here with an example of inserting an accordion menu as a module...

needs some fiddling with but it works.

I used mostafas example as a guide to insert a hacked 'glossy' as a module...

Glossy? maybe - but I've still got some way to go before its polished!
