Put aon my face. That final punch line was a bit obvious, but the buildup to it made it work as far as humor goes. The Ruby stuff was lost on me (not a Ruby person yet). That all said, I was unaware of the other odd behaviors pointed out for javascript. So not only was it funny, it was also educational.
