eCommerce: I know several people using Zencart happily. It is free open-source.

BBS: I was a member on a forum run by a clued-up guy who used MyBB. So I used it too, and it was easy and reliable. It is free open-source.

Dating software, I can't help with. But if you get a site running, please pass a long-legged blonde who can cook my way!

However, there is a demo found here for you to look at and try. It has log ins for admin side and client side as well as a lot of information.
