Smooth Navigational Menu CSS Background issue

Hello all, I tried re-arranging my css but I cannot get the menu background to appear all the way across. Works in IE6, but not in FF3 or IE7/8.

I still can't get it working right for anything beyond IE6. Anyone else got any idea's?
