Default how to prevent URL link of the picture appearing on the bottom LHC of Windows

    1) Script Title: Lightbox image viewer 2.0

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...box2/index.htm

    3) Describe problem: When cursor moves over the picture, the URL link of the picture appears on the bottom left hand corner of the Windows (Firefox/Internet Explorer) . Would appreciate if someone could advise on how to modify the script so that the URL link does not appear. Thank You.

Use flash to open the picture the first time? Put your thumbnails in a flash part with hyperlinks embedded in there, and it shouldn't show the links.

basically, you'd need to create a flash movie with thumbnails and hyperlinks. This means you need to get software and learn how to use it.

    ...

It is usually not practical/worthwhile to try to over-control the behavior of a user's browser.

Is there a reason you don't want the link urls to show?
