sometimes see whitened images via Lightbox image viewer 2.03a

Lightbox image viewer 2.03a shows not the original picture but whitened one. And also, my "close" image is not appearing.

This has come up before but I can't seem to find the thread. As I recall, there is a problem with lightbox 2.03a, perhaps all official lightbox versions with displaying animated gif images properly.

As I also recall, jQuery lightboxes do not have this problem. You may Google:
