Please help with Dynamic Ajax Content

Hi,
I am new to the forum and look forward to interacting with everyone.

I am in need of help. I have used the Dynamic Ajax Content Script.
I got it to work but I have one issue; I cannot get the loaded pages to load to a specific part of the page.

I have a page called page.html and in this page, I have an anchor link at the top of the page I called "top"
I hyperlinked it using the following syntax <a href="javascript:ajaxpage('page.html#top', 'staffinfo');">Page</a> but it won't load to the top of the page.

Any suggestions or am I completely approaching this the wrong way?
Please help. Look forward to hearing thoughts and suggestions.
