changing backgrpund color on scrolling

I'm using the Cross-Browser Marquee script. But I don't want any color in the background. I want it transparent so the wallpaper of my web page shows through if you will. I thought perhaps I could just change the marqueebgcolor variable and was able to change background colors but couldn't get transparency. Can someone show me what to do? Janet

In the Cross Browser Marquee script the fourth variable near the top reads:

//configure background color:
var marqueebgcolor="#DEFDD9"

Change the variable to:

//configure background color:
var marqueebgcolor=""

and that should allow your background to show through
