been playing with this for some time & had a look around the forum, but still having an error with the script below.The slideshow is black :-/

I have other scripts running on the page...hopefully there is not a conflict

I have been doing all my testing locally on my drive tho
Only upload everything once its running 100%

Have the same error in IE8/ Firefox 3.6/ Opera 9.5.2

Anything else to diagnose?

Just looking at your code its hard to tell what the issue is, such as a broken reference to one of the .js files etc.

uploaded the site and the pictures loaded fine first time but then never ran properly again? Sometimes manage to get the second image loading. Same in Firefox/IE8/ Opera - will keep looking for code errors -

Read there was a buggy js script on the forum - sourced mine from

is this one the latest release?

Yep it is the latest. Did you manage to upload a sample page running the slideshow online?

I'm pretty sure its a java script conflict, been having problems attempting other new scripts. Spent too long trying to do something relatively simple.

Ok, inside the .js file, try commenting out the below line (new code in red):

//jQuery.noConflict()

Hi, still not working with the conflicting round corners js - definitely the problem as the fadeslideshow works a treat without it.

Maybe I will remove the rounded corners off the page where Im running the fadeslideshow script..... should be fine
