Question Newbie - Need a 2 Level Horizontal navbar

Hi. I am still new to web designing and am looking for a script that will allow me to create a 2 level horizontal navigation bar that will keep the top level button highlighted when a visitor is viewing a subpage. I would like the top menu bar to have a hover effect that shows the subpage links when hovered over and when a subpage is click on, the top menu button remains highlighted (a "you are here" effect). I also need both of these menu bars to remain horizontal. Is there such a script out there? If anyone knows of a tutorial I can go through to create such a bar, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

    Default Something like this...

I am looking for a navigation bar something like this...

    http://deluxe-menu.com/data-template...iliateid=26469

I would use this one but I don't want to violate any copyright issues and I know the organization that I am making the site for would not want to pay $30 or so for it.

PLEASE.... does anyone know where I can find one like this?
