javascript pull in multi-img links

Hi, guys.

i indeed don't know if this can be done. i need so help to get around this....

lets say i have tons of images that need to be linked into a html page. rather than i create link tag for them one by one, is there any way that i could use javascript to generate a function that can pull all the images from a specified folder and generate hyperlinks for them?

anyone knows? thanks for your help in advance!!
