how can i run these two slideshow scripts together...

3) Describe problem:

I am trying to have these two scripts exist together, so I can browse through the pictures by clicking a next/back arrow, and also click thumbnails to get to the picture. Right now, when I click on any thumbnail, the first slideshow script stops working. Any ideas?
