Slashdot menu question

Hello ; this too is my first post like many I am a newbie and like many i have many issues with coding. : ")
here is my issue:
I have recently added a slash dot menu to my site but the
functions do not work. : (
It remains open and does not close.
Now the problem is how to get it to work.
