Need Help with Slash Dot Menu

3) Describe problem: the menu will not function

I recently added the slash dot menu to my page:
http://www.ladygouldianfinch-ca.com/a2b.html

I uploaded sdmenu.css and sdmenu.js to my server, but when I go to the page ( test page but will hopefully be home page) the menu is open and when you click on it nothing happens.
I have moved the code all over the place but being computer illiterate / dense I cannot seem to get the menu to respond no matter how I configure it.
i will remove menu box ( ugly white thing at top of table) as soon as I get menu functioning. I have it there as I am not confident enough to manipulate code any further.
any help is appreciated.
