Buttons and Highted Link Buttons

Hi. I am wondering how to create buttons for my links instead of just text. Also I would like to know how to highlight those buttons when it is moused over. Thank you. The website is www.woodlandsinsuranceservices.com

I have been messing around trying to get this to work but havnt been able to.

Also while messing around with this I lost the logo that is supposed to be in the upper left corner. This is the code:
