As the title says, people's musical tastes?
I personally like rock, and (again) SOME rap.
Anyone else care to share?
Also lets share our fav band.

I don't tend to listen to much music, but when I do it's always in another language, usually one that I'm studying.

Wow your such a studier and smart and stuff. I feel dumb talking to you hahaha.
Metal!![]()
I'm not real big on music, though it is wonderful. For many years now I've preferred Jazz. Classical was it for many years before that. Growing up in the 60's and 70's I like much of the popular and niche music of those decades as well as a lot of the current alternative/indie being made that's influenced heavily by it.

Mine's rather eclectic, I really prefer electro music, techno, trance.. but I also listen to rock, house, rap, classical and even some pop. My favorite bands are Coldplay and Muse and my fav DJ is the best: Tiësto.
Disclaimer: This is my personal opinion, I don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings!
My iPod has everything from the Drop Trio (jazz), to Billy Talent (Indie Rock), to Dave Matthews Band (Jazz/Rock/Everything) to System of a Down (Metal). I like to listen to pretty much everything as long as it's not pop (no offense intended) My favourite genre is alternative.
My favourite band at the moment is Them Crooked Vultures.

RE fassist: It's not that I'm that dedicated to studying, but instead that I just don't listen to music much, but make an exception for foreign languages because it's a good way to relax and practice a bit.
X96, I find pop to be the best in foreign languages, though it's stuff I would never listen to in English (and would probably drive me insane). It's always simple and easy to understand, so it's good when you don't know the language well.
In conclusion, I have odd tastes and probably am not even relevant to the discussion at hand![]()
