Problem with Side version of All Levels Navigational Menu 2.2
1) Script Title: All Levels Navigational Menu (v2.2)
2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...menu/index.htm
3) Describe problem: I want to use the side menu on some pages, but when I reviewed the code, it showed nothing about:
a) how to make it work with out an iframe? (If possible?)
b) any formatting at all. All the instructions seem to be for the top menu.
I actually created the top menu, plugged in all my menus (which are extensive), and then changed the info (script calling from topmenu to the side menu (as per the demo2). i.e., ddlevelsmenu.setup("ddsidemenubar", "sidebar") //ddlevelsmenu.setup("mainmenuid", "topbar|sidebar")
Unfortunately it doesn't work right, so I'd have to rebuild it manually.
My biggest thing is, is there any way to make the side menu work without an iframe?
btw - for some wierd reason, when I use the top level, I'm always getting a javascript error that reads:
Line: 4
Char: 2
Error: 'document.getElementById(...)' is null or not an object
Kinda wierd, because your script doesn't do that.
*However*, I did get the script specifically from your All Levels Menu Generator, so maybe it's slightly different?

This very similar acting menu:
http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...smoothmenu.htm
can probably be styled to look like you want it to, and requires no iframe.

Actually that probably will work - thanks. (I didn't look closer at that one earlier because I liked the wireframe look, but I'll try at it now.).

Still not right
Okay, that top smooth menu just doesn't work. I just can't get it to match the look I wanted.
(Not the top bar)
However, the side bar - How do I switch it so that the arrows and menus open to the left?
(Sorry, I'm not a css expert in any way, I can just manipulate)
I'm positioning this menu on the right side of the page, not the left.
