Hello fellow flashers!

I am in need of direction and here is my quandary:

I need to create an applet that contains an animation that animates, (dynamically using the users variables i.e inputting two integers) how an Array Multiplier works, step by step.

Essentially, I need to animate what this guy is talking about in this video:

(cannot insert url, go to youtube and search for array multiplier and its the first one named "Lecture 15 - ARRAY MULTIPLIER")

Would someone please tell me how this can be undertaken so that I can do the relevant research on Flash as I have NO prior knowledge of this language what so ever!
