Help With StepCarousel

1) Script Title: Step Carousel Viewer v1.8

3) Describe problem: I'm having hard time using this script, and even following the steps to be honest. Is there some type of step by step instructions other then what is givin. Also, I'm using smarty, can I use this script on a TPL page?

It doesn't matter if the script is embedded inside a template, as long as the final output conforms to what would have been output if you had manually added the script to a static page. Please post a link to the problem page of what you have so far if you still need help.
