Anylink CSS v2.2 - Menu items changing colors in IE

3) Describe problem: In IE, once a menu link is chosen it changes from red to purple the next time the page is visited. I'd like it to stay red regardless of whether or not it's been clicked on before. I've tried it on Safari and it works fine. Anybody have a clue why? Thanks.
