Not sure if there is anything here that will service my requirements.

Background:
I have been cleaning up all my pages that use tables which is basically the whole site.

I have a cabinet handle "brochure" and I have added many more images and items. I am using a derivative of thicktabs but I still need to add more content and this menu is no longer working as all pages need to be updated as the menu choices code is embedded in the html.

My supplier's OEM has a pretty cool approach (in Spanish or Portuguese) (See:http://www.egoki.net/productos_tiradores_buscar.asp) Google should auto translate.

Now I know that my content is all mixed up in html code but I can C&P this into a simple content database.

What I need to do is offer the user options with a drop down or two.

Then once the selection is made, say on type which can be bar, arch, modern etc. I want to dynamically extract all the data nodes from the database and write them into a dynamic window/frame.

I will probably need two linked tables with table 1 having the major class

Class(All, Bar, Wooden, Arch, Satin Metals...) for drop down

The 2nd table will have the elements of

(Class: ) Description, Photo, Code, Finish, Between Centers Size, Length, Height...

(actually one table will do and only the class elements for a drop down which initiates the search dynamic)

These will the "dynamic" data elements that will be written into the dynamic sheet in the format I currently have as fixed table catalogues.

Awhile back a buddy wrote something that actually interrogates an excel spreadsheet (comma delimited) so an sql database is not necessary, at the time I was pretty clueless as to the workings of web pages.

Sooo
is there such a simple script available w/o going the whole hog of learning asp?
