    Default Spry Menu Bar Problems in Safari

    3) Describe problem: My spry menu bar isn't working in safari but does in firefox. any ideas why?!

    Also any suggestions on how to make the site run smoother? I only know how to create separate pages in DW.

    That looks horizontal to me (drop downs drop vertically though, if that's what you mean). And, in Firefox the drop downs appear to be behind your Graphics/open.jpg image. No different than in Safari here. This can probably be fixed using z-index style applied to one or more elements in the menu (this may also require absolute or relative positioning style be applied to these same elements). Also, you are using what appears to be a not ready for prime time version (from the script's source code linked to your demo page):
