Default Ultimate Slideshow Google Chrome Compatibility Issue's

    1) Script Title: Ultimate Fade-in slideshow

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...nslideshow.htm

    3) Describe problem:

Hello, the first thing I wanted to say is THANK YOU for sharing the wonderful scripts on DD!

The problem I am having is that Ultimate Slideshow doesn't seem to be compatible with Google Chrome. the slideshow works great in every other browser, but refuses to show up in Chrome. Is there a script line I need to add for this compatibility issue?

I am currently using a .js file linked to from my index page here:

    The Index: http://www.metascapemedia.com/

    The .JS file: http://www.metascapemedia.com/css/fade.js

I tried updating to version 2.0, but that didnt work, so I put 1.5 back in place. I also made sure to research Ultimate Fade-In Slideshow: how to use with attached .js file thread, and tutorial, and everything seems to be right.

Thank you in advance for steering me in the right direction, and I am in high hopes someone found a solution to make this awesome script compatible with Google Chrome.

Your page is in violation of Dynamic Drive's usage terms, which, among other things, state that the script credit must appear in the source code of the page(s) using the script. Please reinstate the notice first.

That's a really old version of the script, and had a number of problems. The current version will work in Chrome if installed properly. However, an interim version exists (later dubbed 1.51):

It will also work in Chrome.

Thank's for your response John, I will give 1.5.1 a try and see if that works. I apologize about the breaking TOS. I really had no idea, as I put the credits for this script here within the major source code:

    http://www.metascapemedia.com/css/fade.js

...How embarrassing. I will fix ASAP.

    Thanks again,

    Michael

    EDIT: OK, I placed:

    ***********************************************
    * Ultimate Fade-In Slideshow (v1.5): Dynamic Drive (http://www.dynamicdrive.com)
    * This notice MUST stay intact for legal use
    * Visit http://www.dynamicdrive.com/ for this script and 100s more.
    ***********************************************

Four times within the page where the script calls for the .JS. Again, I apologize, and didn't realize I was breaking TOS. OK, now to see if 1.5.1 works...
