    Default Moving a container div

I'm in the middle of switching layouts and I'm working with a new type of stylesheet. I used to use "position: asbolute" to move my divs around and since that was wrong, I stopped. I am now having a problem because I would like to move my navigation and content divs upward and I have no idea how to move them. Like I said I'm used to moving them with "position absolute" so now I'm a bit confused.

EDIT: New problem. I have figured out how to move the container; however, when I try to move the navigation it just moves the container. It's moving with the container.

Here is a page for example.

Is this resolved or not? Is this the footer problem or moving a container with javascript or something else?
