    Unhappy XAMPP upload file

Hi guys now this is really trivial, i admit it myself but i still have the problem.

When i try use a very simple script from w3c schools or such like i cant seem to be able to upload files when im developing on my local server.

Iv been searching for the last few days about what settings need to be configured in my php.ini file but the threads i find are less than useless personally.

Any ideas on what i need to do/change?

    Cheers guys

Make sure you're control panel looks like this:

And here is a video on how to make files run in XAMPP, which I just made: http://www.screencast.com/users/Nile...d-ba1ed6ae88c8

But... If you're using Windows I highly suggest WAMP instead of XAMPP!

    Good Luck!

    Hi Nile,

cheers for the post. unfortunately i fail to see how your video helps in any way.

I am actually on an apple mac so the control panel is different.
Any ideas why the file upload will say unsuccessful? Iv put the temp directory file setting in my php.ini file to htdocs/temp but that doesnt make a difference either.

    Any ideas?
