Expando Help

I´m a beginner on this
Can someone explain me how to work with the expando image script?
1- I´ve put the 1st script in the head;does this script needs to be modified?
2 -Where the 2nd script must be place? In the head of HTML page too?
2- expando.js must and the photos must be saved in the same folder, right?
3- Do I have to change something in the expando.js program?
4- The photos can be stored as jpeg?
5 - The photos (with the original size) should be inserted first in the HTML page?

Untill now i got my photos reduced but It was impossible to expand them! Arrffff
Someone can help me?
