Default What Do I Do once I've installed ASP.NET?

I just installed ASP.NET in my Windoze XP virtual machine. I want to widen my range of programming, and learn ASP.

I installed ASP, it says it's installed, I restarted, and now I'm in the dark. What do I do once I've installed ASP.NET? I tried opening an ASPX file with some executable code in it, but it didn't work.

Is there a certain directory where I have to put the files? (Like /var/www for Apache)

    Help?

Edit: I searched for a folder called Inetpub, as a web site suggested, but it couldn't find that anywhere in my C:/ drive.

    Thanks,

I'm pretty sure Inetpub is for IIS not for apache. I'm a mac user so won't be that helpful to you anyway but I think that's the wrong direction.

Sorry, didn't word that correctly... I was trying to say that Apache uses /var/www for it's web documents, and I was wondering if IIS did the same.

But, alas, Microsquish made some decision not to include IIS with XP Home... And I'm not going to turn around and buy XP Pro.

Oh well, I'll stick to PHP.
