Default Image slideshow w/ Fade, Back/Next Buttons, & Thumbnail Links

    Script: DHTML Image Slideshow
    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...dhtmlslide.htm

I'm creating a photography portfolio website for myself and need a slideshow that will preload images, have previous and next links, and also allow thumbnail images at the bottom of the page to change to images in the slideshow. I can see how to achieve this using the script above or the similar fade slideshow, except those don't have instructions for making my thumbnail images links to an image in the slideshow.

Here is a link to an image of the website I'm making... http://www.joshlewisphoto.com/website-concept/

I can get the previous/next buttons to function correctly. What I need is for someone to be able to click on a thumbnail image and have the large image change.

Also, I like the fade slideshow and will switch to that, but is there a way that I can have one image fade out completely, then the next image fade in. This would avoid the cross-fade effect.

    Thank you for any help.

They don't fit exactly your description, though I believe the following two scripts are closer to what you need than DHTML Slideshow:

    Image Thumbnail Viewer
    or
    Featured Content Slider
    DD Admin
