Default Dynamic Image Drop Down Menu

    1) Script Title: Chrome CSS Drop Down Menu

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...rome/index.htm

    3) Describe problem:

I am in desperate need of some help with this script. I am trying to create the Chrome CSS Drop Down Menu but instead of using HTML text for my menu items I would like to use images.

    Solutions I've tried:
#1: I've tried to create a transparent background image for the main menu item and then have the div containing the ul/li items appear over top the background image but the problem with that is the large background image disappears once you start rolling over the div items..

#2: I tried to create a three separate actions as done with the original script you guys have created; action 1 being, a rollover :hover on the link li item. action 2 being, the 'selected' state for the li item. action 3 is to have the large background drop down smoothly and remain active. (Please note I am just using random images to first accomplish the function. Once it's accomplished then I'll switch to the actual images).

If someone could help me and point me into the right direction to get the "Chrome" drop down effect using images that would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank-You.

Just so I understand correctly, are you trying to use images just for the main menu items (aka the anchor links), or each of the drop down menus themselves? For the former, a script like AnyLink CSS Menu supports this by default.

    Default Resolved

Yes. I was hoping to accomplish this effect using images for my drop down menu. I actually resolved the issue. I forgot to add some of the code for the chromemenu. Don't know how I missed it but it's looking and functioning GREAT! Thanks for the help.

Have a look. Would be a great tutorial for you guys to have something like this off your site.
