Embed Video and Audio files

i would like to know how to embed video and audio files in a php site.

This is not a PHP question. It is an html/plugin question. Every format of audio/video file requires a different way to embed them, and you can use PHP to generate the HTML that will embed a file.

Search through older threads here for various ways to include media in the page. Audio files are a little easier and can be done through flash for interactive content, or even a few ways with just html/javascript, most of which don't work that well, though. Video files a little harder, but there are a few ways too. There are older threads discussing many ways to do both, so search for them (separately).
