There could be more than one thing at work here. The menu images looked fine here in IE 6, before you made any changes. If that was not the case on your end, then your copy of IE 6 doesn't support filters. But there was a problem down lower on the page in that the background images for the content:

etc., were off. That could just mean that you need to apply the fix to that section's background.

Actually, looks fine in IE 6 here now.
