fadein slideshow 2.1 not working in explorer, glitches in firefox
1) Script Title: Ultimate Fade-in slideshow (v2.1)
2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...tm#displaymode
3) Describe problem:
Hiya,
so sorry to come here whimpering, i usually manage to fix things myself but I've really hit a brick wall...
Am updating one of my sites & all is well & good except it's not working at all in (wait for it..) Explorer. Imagine that.
I just get a blank box with an 'x' like an image not found error.
This is the error message:
Line: 13
Char: 12949 (from what I can google, this is a width error? If so, I'm damned if I can find/fix it!!)
Error: Invalid Argument
Code: 0
In firefox (again pc/windows) it's all fine & dandy except the transparent b/g on rollover text pop ups doesn't show. I can live with this but if I load the sample page from dynamic drive into both problem browsers it all works perfectly so it makes me think I'm doing/not doing something.

On all mac browsers (firefox, Safari, Opera) everything works perfectly (don't they always
here's a link to my files:

I've used this slide show before (V1.1) with no issues.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Jamie
i downloaded your page and experimeted. After a while i found that your version of the fadeslideshow.js was the problem. I replaced it with this version and got it working in IE too.

oh wow!
THANK YOU!, THANK YOU!, THANK YOU!
I'm not sure how, but I wonder if I somehow got the old & new JS scripts mixed up?
Or I 'broke' it somehow..?
Whatever, I'd have never found the problem & I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate your kindness in spending the time & helping such an incompetent as myself.
You are a star & I raise a beer to you!
Have a great weekend!
