Pop up event reminder.. Help.. Thanks

I have create a calendar that contain events that happen on that particular day. I would like to create a event reminder for like 2 days before the events happen. Is there anyway to do it ? Thanks.

Gives us a link to a live page that shows what you have so far and tell us what form you would like the reminder to take, and we will see what we can do.

I doing a calendar in a mobile widget. So I would like to have a pop up message that alert the user just like a normal mobile phone would be.

I am unable to provide a live page. Below is some screenshot of what i have done.

on click on the date in the calendar, the user will lead to the page below.


The list of events is currently stored in an array list.

I would like to have a reminder function that will prompt the user in 2 days time, it will be what event, etc.
