3) Describe problem:
We are trying to get the above script working in Firefox for Windows. We have downloaded Firefox 3.5.3 and running it in XP (our client is running it in Vista we think)
We are having a redraw flickering issue. And yes, have tried to force scroll bars with no improvement. Works in everything else!!

There are a few threads in the past on this very same issue. The problem has to do with some browsers' inability to dynamically adjust the height of a Flash file, despite it being inside a DIV that's being resized. I don't know if Flash has a easy remedy to enable a Flash object to be resized, so in the meantime, a compromise that should work is to completely hide the Flash file in object whenever its parent DIV is being animated, and only reveal it again when the animation is complete.

In IE 8, text inside my div turns really ugly when fading. It turns black and pixelized. Can you prevent this?

The blurry text issue has to do with a bug in IE that comes into play with you're fading an element using IE Filters and the browser has ClearType font enabled. To be honest I haven't really looked into a fix for this issue, though there are plenty of discussions on the web on this issue.
