Default Always be respectful and polite when posting.

The DD-rules say: Always be respectful and polite when posting- There is absolutely no excuse to be rude...
Now, I came across this post leading to this site.
What do you think: am I entitled to find this offensive? I mean, if this site were about the Wonders accomplished by any totalitarian regime, people would find it 'not done'. But isn't this about something similar?
(I don't mean to offend anyone).

By offensive, are you referring to the contents of the site (and not the post itself)? It looks simply as a religious site to me.

I agree. The content on the site may be questionable, but the post is reasonable. Like some of the more questionable links that get posted (such as for adult entertainment sites), the links can be removed after the question has been answered, and it's not really a misuse of this site as long as it's a genuine question about web design, not just promotion. In this case, though, I just look at that as a weird site I wouldn't want to look at any more, but not really something so bad it has to be removed from the site. Not that I'd mind if people would rather the link removed, after the question has been answered.
