Hello.

I would like to create a welcome message/box that would recognize a user login info. I would like it to say something like this:

Welcome to our portal,
John Smith

Close

And i would it to sort of float on a screen before the user clicks to close it and also does it once per session.
We are running Active Directory on our network.

How do I create this? I am very new to this...
Any help would be appreciated.
