When scrolling text in marquee, is there a code for stopping text in the center and stop looping? I am at my wits-end trying to figure this one out.

Are you talking about the <marquee> tag or a script.
The problem with the <marquee> tag is that it is for IE only, much better to use a script, there are some good ones already on this site.
If you are referring to a script then let us see the code

the marquee tag is supported in all major browsers, not just IE.
