    Default mimeo background wanted

    I am looking for a background image that will make my website text appear as if it was photocopied sometime in the 1970s. Remember how that used to look, with little dots or dark shadows?
    They used to call them mimeos or xeroxes.
    Any help? Please and thank you!

    Playing with the CSS text-shadow might do this?

    .blurtext {
    text-shadow: 0px 0px 10px Black;
    }

    Use a stained background that looks something like this:

    That might work...

    Most graphics applications have filters like this. Photoshop has a few that might work (just look through the "artistic" and "stylize" filters), or google a tutorial-- there must be one. What comes to mind specifically is if you happen to have a Mac. There's a program that comes with some of the newer versions of OSX (10.3+?) called "Comic Life". There's a preset that will do exactly what you want.
    If you've just got a single picture I can run it through that at some point, just post it here. If you've got a bunch, look at using a friend's mac, unless you've got your own.

    Edit: aha, and here's a version for windows. (I just knew that OSX comes with a free trial of it.)

    Free trial to test it out, too.
