    Default image fade-in

    Hi,

I am looking for a script that allows me to select a random image from a folder and display it on a web page, where it should fade-in, hold for a few seconds, then fade-out again. After fade-out, another image should fade-in and out, but at a different location.

I have looked at the scripts here, but they I can't get either one working the way I'd like to. Most of them display images at the same location, or can be called only once.

If anybody knows of such a script, please let me know.

    Thanks.

// Subsequent calls with '#' in parameter 0 and the same start and finish parameters will 'toggle' the effect.

// whenever required, say from an onclick/mouseover/out event.
// The period parameter will be retained unless re-specified.
// Note 5: parameter 5 is of particular use when re-calling the effect

    Talking beauuutiful!

That code was incredibly useful! I have been searching for days for something that would work like that and that I could understand well enough to customize it. I am very new at javascript, but your script was well organized and had just enough explanation.

    Thanks tons!
