Default how to use 2 overlapping javascripts?

I am using 2 javascripts, one for a drop down navigation, and the other for a fading slideshow, both from this website.

The problem is, my slideshow displays right under my navigation, so my drop down content shows underneath the slideshow, and hides the drop down content. How can I have the slideshow show UNDERNEATH the navigation?

the navigation z-Index must be greater than the slide show navigation z-Index

will need a link to your page to be more specific
