How safe Color Picker Widget (YUI based) is?

Hi,

I want to use Color Picker Widget (YUI based) (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...cker/index.htm) in my web application. Since this color picker refers some yahoo library resources like //yui.yahooapis.com/2.5.1/build/utilities/utilities.js, can we use this safely? I am affraid if any changes in these yahoo library resources in futue will crash my web application....I am not much aware of yahoo development network and its resources. Please clarify my doubts.

one would hope that yahoo would catter for backwards compatability

but you can always enter the script url in the address bar of your browser and save the code
