Ajax Tabs don't work on localhost

3) Describe problem: I have set up Ajax Tabs on both my localhost development server and a 'production' server with a domain name. Each copy is set up exactly the same and yet the Ajax Tabs on the localhost refuse to load content from the same server where the identical code works perfectly when online with the production server.

I'm wondering how I can avoid this problem?

Are you talking about in IE7 or IE8? If so, this is "normal" in that sense that the page must be online in order for Ajax to run...
