    Default Image CSS border hover effect on PHP Photo Album Script V2

    1) Script Title: PHP Photo Album Script V2.0

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...photoalbum.htm

    3) Describe problem: I've been trying to add a border hover effect on the images that form the gallery. I added this to the CSS but it doesnt seem to work.

    Code:
    .photodiv img{ /*CSS for each image tag*/
    border: 1px solid #ff0066;
    width: 150px;
    height: 150px;
    cursor: hand;
    cursor: pointer;
    }
    .photodiv:hover img{
    border: 1px solid white;
    }
    .photodiv:hover{
    color: white; /* irrelevant definition to overcome IE bug */
    }
    Any ideas on getting it to work?
    Here's a link to my example page: http://temp.jemcon.org/images.php

    You can try:

    Code:
    .photodiv img:hover{ /*CSS for each image tag*/
    border: 1px solid white;
    }
    This doesn't work in IE7 however, since IE only supports the "hover" element on A links. The thumbnails are not hyperlinked, hence you can't target A instead.

    I didnt realise that about IE7 - thanks for the update.

    I used the same CSS method on the older version of the script which of course worked because the image thumbs were hyperlinked - thanks for reminding me of this fact.

    Thats all its supposed to be - just a loading image provided so when you run the gallery on your server, the loading gif displays briefly as images load.
