Text Image Crawler & IE8

3) Describe problem: Have just used this script for website and viewed on XP os with IE7 (laptop) which is OK,
when viewed on desktop on Vista os with IE8 marquee does NOT display and as webmaster/builder of 2 sites
www.patchamcommunitycentre.org.uk & www.patchambridgeclub.org.uk
also have other browsers installed on desktop Safari 4.0.2(530.19.1), Firefox 3.0.12 and Google Chrome 2.0.172.37
none of these display the 'crawler' either which is purely text. Script state cross browser support
so has anyone have any ideas?

Should have checked everything before posting.
Crawler does work, however has to be viewed in
COMPATIBILITY mode
