    Default Animated Collapsible: Expanded by default? (solved)

    1) Script Title: Animated Collapsible

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...edcollapse.htm

    3) Describe problem: I would like to show the script initially expanded by default.

    When I change visibility values it works but the link which controls the script (calls to "slideit" function) stops working. Can someone please help me with this?

    Thank you in advance.

    Code:

    How are you initially hiding the DIVs? For example, are you using the parameter option when initializing the script:

    Code:
    animatedcollapse.addDiv('rabbit', 'fade=0,speed=400,group=pets,hide=1')

    Default Solved

    I solved it. After reading your comment I took a look at my main file where there are the div parametres.

    //Syntax: var uniquevar=new animatedcollapse("DIV_id", animatetime_milisec, enablepersist(true/fase), [initialstate] )

    Following the help text I changed this:

    Code:
    var collapse2=new animatedcollapse("footer", 800, true)
    to this:

    Code:
    var collapse2=new animatedcollapse("footer", 800, false, "block")
    Then the script is initially expanded. Thanks for your support.
