3) Describe problem: Excellent script, but is also posible to have the onmouse-over events be fixed and always visible ? So that the text and autocontrol on transparant background are always visible, while the slideshow continues. So actually removing the onmouse-over event. Thanks !

Using this script makes my dropdown menu (placed just above the gallery) disappear behind the slideshow.

Should just be a simple z-index issue. Have you tried giving the drop down menus a high CSS z-index value?
